  8. How to ask for directions ¿De dónde se vaal.. / a la…? Which way is it to the…? BE CAREFUL: Remember to use the correct “TO” = al or a la (see previous lesson)

To give simple directions A la izquierda to the left A la derechato the right Todo recto / todorechostraight ahead To give more precise directions Toma la primera (1st) a la izquierdato the left (Take) la segunda (2nd ) a la derechato the right la tercera (3rd ) Siguetodo recto (contintue straight ahead)

  10. Your challenge Look at the following slide show and for each places in town ask the direction and give the direction in Spanish. Everyone will be able to ask and give all simple directions Most students will be able to ask and give simple directions and some precise directions Some students will be able to ask and give more complex direction for all places
