Find the submission link This will be in a menu item in the appropriate Blackboard module site – usually “Assignments”, “Assessment and Feedback” or “Turnitin” The submission link will look like this:- TIP If more than one is listed make sure to choose correctly TIP Find where the link is well before you need it
Starting submission Clicking view/complete opens the class home page and the blue submit button starts the upload process TIP Try to submit earlier than the deadline it will give you time to resolve any issues
Upload Step 2 TIP The maximum file size for Turnitin is 20Mb TIP .doc is the preferred format but .txt .rtf and non image .pdf are ok too
Submitting… While it is submitting to Turnitin you may see this information It can be slower at peak times – do not assume yourassignment is submitted until the receipt opens
Checking the Class Home page After submission the class home page will have changed a little TIP Return here any time to check via the view/complete link
I Can’t find the Turnitin link?Ask your lecturer or college admins to show you My file is over 20Mb?Reduce the file size (eg lower image resoloution etc.) My assignment has two or more files?Unless extra assignment links have been created you must merge the files into one document before submitting I accidently submitted the wrong file?Contact your lecturer or college admins and ask them to delete your submission so you can submit again before the due date/time! My problem isn’t listed here?Go to the IT Support desk in the library, call 01792 295060 or email ITsupport@Swansea.ac.uk Problems
