The Clarinet • The clarinet is a wood wind instrument that has, a single reed mouth piece. A straight cylindrical tube with an approximately cylindrical bore and a flaring bell. A person who plays the clarinet is called a clarinettist or a clarintist.
Prices • Prices of a average clarinet would be around £80 to £150 pounds. • A reed on its own would be around £1 to £2 pounds. • A box of reeds would be around £12 to £15 pounds. • A clarinet cleaning kit would be around £5 to £20 depending on the quality.

Reeds !!! Reeds are the most important thing for the clarinet this is what makes the sound if you didn't have it you wouldn't have the sound that you normally have. The reed vibrates and when you blow the sound comes out.
