Welcome to AIMed19’s Shark Tank Competition • Please use this slide deck as a framework for your pitch. • You can amend and edit the style of your slide deck with your own branding. • There are 11 slides, each detailing specific questions you need to answer. • You can use the ‘notes’ function of PowerPoint for additional information. • These slides will provide us with an outline of your company and why it is unique. • We will use these slides to shortlist candidates who will be invited to pitch in front of our audience and Sharks at our upcoming AIMed19 conference which takes place 11-14 December 2019 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Laguna Niguel, California. • Please submit your completed slide deck via email to: ruki@ai-med.io • All shortlisted candidates will be notified via email shortly after the closing date: 28 November 2019

  2. Company Purpose • Provide company name. • State your vision, mission, aim and objectives.

  3. Problem / Opportunity • What is the specific problem you are solving? • Why is this a problemand who has this problem? • How big / serious of a problem is it?

  4. Solution • Tell us about your solution. What is unique about it and how does it bring value to your customers? • Describe your use of AI in your solution ( patents / IP ?)

  5. Why Now / Competition Competition • What differentiates your solution from other alternatives? Who are your competitors? Why now? • Tell us why this hasn’t been done before? How big is this specific market and what is your unfair advantage?

  6. Market Size • Tell us about the market opportunity. Why is now the right time for this product and how do you position yourself in the market? • What is your secret sauce – How are you going to become better than your competitors?

  7. Business Model • How do you make money? Describe how money flows from your customer to your business • Is revenue periodic or recurring? Describe what your business charges (per sale, subscription, user, customer, month).

  8. Customer Use CasesCustomer Acquisition / Unit Economics / Go-To-Market • Who is your customer persona? And how are you currently getting users / customers? • How much does your solution/product cost (COGs)?  • What is the sales cycle to-date? 

  9. Your Core Team and Advisors • Who are your founders? What does the cap table look like? (equity distribution across founders). • Why is your team uniquely motivated to solve this problem?  • Do you have advisors? If yes, who are they?

  10. Financial Projections, Use of Funds, Ask • How much have you raised to date and at what terms? • How much are you looking to raise?  • What is your top priority for the next 3-6 months? 

  11. Traction, Accomplishments, Timeline • When did you start the company? How many customers do you have to-date? • Are you profitable? What are your margins?   • What does retention or churn look like? Any upsells? 

  12. Contact • Provide your contact details: address, email, telephone number. • Add your company’s social media details here.
