Therefore, this could appeal to parents of the children who have a steady job in order to pay out for treats for their children Age: 3-7 years old as it is based on a well known children’s animated programme. Gender: Mainly girls but can have boys as it has a main male character Regional identity: As this is a children’s magazine, it focuses on teaching young children new things. This could include things that the characters see and learn about places they visit, therefore could appeal to both rural and urban audiences. Race, nationality and religion: As the characters in this magazine are all animals this then creates a sensitivity to the audience diversity.

This means that the target audience must have a regular income in order to buy this magazine frequently. Age: 45-60 as it is about home lifestyles and gardening and life in the country. Gender: Mainly female as it has a housewife stereotype behind the front covers but men may be interested in gardening as well. Location: This appeals to people who live in rural environments.
