Whether VS. Weather • Weather- what you describe outdoors (Oh the weather outside is frightful) • Whether- whether or not (I don’t know whether or not we are going to the party)
Lifes VS Lives • Lifes is NOT a word • Lives is a word. (A cat has nine lives.)

Then VS Than • Then- What happens next (We went to the store, then we came home.) • Than- Instead of (English is better than math.)
Through VS Threw • First of all, THRU is SLANG. • Threw- to propel something into the air (He threw the ball home, but the runner was already safe.) • Through- To pass beyond or to the other side of (She will get through her depression and be happy again.)
Until VS Til • Til- a seasme seed plant • Until- up to that time or place (We have to wait until the cat comes home.)
Weird VS Wierd • Weird- strange or unusual (This cat is weird and fat.) • Wierd- I AM NOT A WORD
Cause VS Because • Cause- the event that creates an effect (The cause of the Great Depression was the Stock market crash.) • Because- for the reason that (She went to the store because the cat needed food.)
