  1. EVERYDAY MYSTERIES We are surround by things in our normal lives that we do not necessarily understand fully. How well can you answer some of life’s simplest, yet challenging, puzzles? In groups of 3 try to come up with the most creative explanation/story.

For example… WHY? • What causes lightning? • Why does thunder follow lightning? • Why is the sky blue? • Why are there rainbows? • Why do geese fly south for the winter? • Why do chairs have four legs? • Why are oranges orange in color? • Why does the moon wax and wane? • Why do the seasons change? • Why can birds fly while humans cannot?

  3. directions • Within your groups create a story explain the “mystery” of your choice. • The stories must be 2-3 paragraphs long (non-TEEL-CON) One full page long minimum; 1.5 page maximum
