  1. Instructions for Lab Book This is your 5 x 5 Quad book. Please make sure this is 5 x 5 (meaning 5 boxes for every inch) This will be used for labs & warm ups.

  2. Key things to remember: • Keep this organized correctly • There will be lab book checks and it is much easier to grade if done correctly • This is similar to how high school sets up their notebooks • Please write legibly and stay within the lines/boxes • Only use BLACK pen • Do not cram notes or diagrams in a small space. Use the pages in your notebook and continue on to another page even if it’s just for a small section.

  3. 1. Make Cover Page Student’s first & last name Mrs. Taylor Period ___ Course Name (leave back of page blank)

  5. 2. Table of Contents, still • Continue making 3 more Table of Contents pages with the same set up. • So there will be 2 front & back pages to write table of contents – 4 pages total

  6. 3. Add Labs/warm ups • After your last Table of Contents page, directly to the right, tape your 1st page of your “Spaghetti Tower Lab”. • Number the top outside corner “1”

  7. 3. Labs/Warm ups • For the second page of your lab, turn page “1” on over, and tape the 2nd page of the lab to the other side of the paper. • Number that page on the top outside corner “2”

  8. 4. Record Lab in Table of Contents • Go back and record what you just put in your notesbook • “Spaghetti Tower Lab pg 1-2 Table of Contents Description Pg # Description Pg # Spaghetti Tower Lab 1-2

Repeat Process • Remember now, when you receive • Lab • Tape/record in Lab in Quad • Number the top outside corner • Record the page number on the table of contents • Warm ups • Record the Date of the warm up • Write the title of the warm up • Follow the directions • Record on the Table of Contents
