  6. Time to Act! • 3 groups of 6. • Each group has 3 sentences to change from passive to active voice. Once you’re in the group, find a partner, and pick a sentence to correct. • Your group will act out the scenes twice—once in passive voice and once in active voice.

Choose 3 group members to act. • Then, go back to your groups and correct the sentences to be in active voice. • Act out the scene in active voice. Choose DIFFERENT group members this time. • Have fun; the group with the highest score wins candy! • Let’s practice first!

  18. Group 3: Life’s good again… • Girl: You are loved by me again! • Boy: My letter jacket can be worn by you. • Student: I hope her heart won’t be broken by him again.
