Once upon a time, there lived a dugong named Pat. She lived in a small village in Dugong Country. She lived a happy life with her father, mother and little brother. Pat went to school and had lots of friends.
It all went well until something happened. Pat’s father, Mr Pan, got a new job in Tailfin Land of the Dugong. They were leaving on Suntail (Sunday). Pat checked her calendar. Today was Wednestail (Wednesday) means only four more tails to go! “Oh no!” said Pat “I better start packing NOW!”
During the three tails(days) she didn’t talk to her friends. Finally on Saturtail(Saturday) she E-mailed her friends telling them she was sorry and that she will be going to Tailfin Land of the Dugong. Pat said she’ll miss them and will never forget them.
It was Suntail time for them to go to the airport. When they reached the airpot Pat was very excited. After buying the tickets , they were settled in the plane. “We are ready for takeoff!!” said the pilot. Pat heard the engine start and immediately looked out the window. They were flying through the water clouds. Mr Pan told them that they will be staying at a hotel while they look for a house.
“Aggg...,” Pat heard the engine slow down and stop. When they came out, Pat was surprised to see so many people(well dugongs actually) in the air port. Neither had Mr and Mrs Pan.
Then they got a glimse of something or SOMEONE they knew. “GRANDMA!!!” Pat shouted. Pat ran to her and embraced her. Grandma was also happy to see Pat and her family. Pat asked her why she was there. She said she came here to see a friend of hers. She informed them that she bought a house and now wanted to sell it.
So off they went to see the house. The house was huge. It had three bedrooms , a living room and a kitchen. It also has a swimming pool, Jacuzzi , a badminton court and a basketball court.
By the time they settled in, ate and changed, it was already night. “Time to sleep kids,” said Mr Pan “Tomorrow you can play whatever you want.”
RING-RING! The bell went off. It was a new day for the Pans. And a very busy one too. The children went swimming, Mr Pan went to work and Mrs Pan doing some gardening. This went on until the end of the school holiday. Mr and Mrs Pan needed to find a school for Pat.
They searched and searched until they came across a school named Dulang Primary School. Her parents applied and soon the school accepted Pat. So now that you know Pat has a new house, a new school and friends, this means... • THE END!
