4 Essentials You Need To Remember Packing For Summer Camp! There’s no point in summers without a summer camps! Whether it’s with your family or through school, or even through private camping organizations - camping is a great fun way to spend your summer holidays. However, your kids may need flashlights or camping lamps in case brownouts occur, as kids can get quite creeped out in the dark. Essential treats: Your kids might not like the camp food, or even if they do, sometimes they need to snack on something else. Packing in nutritional bars and tasty and healthy treats in their bags are recommended, as they can always dive into that stash of treats if they ever get hungry on a hike or some other activity. Medicines: Medicines are a must. Campsites usually have their own first aid and general medical supplies, but for any allergies or illnesses, the camp instructor or chaperones must be informed about everything so that they can take the necessary precautions and actions when required. Apart from that, first aid supplies and also bug and mosquito repellents might come in handy. Appropriate clothes: It’s a summer camp, so obviously want to be packing light and comfortable for them. For sports and band camps, the appropriate attires must be packed in as well, including the right equipment. But for academic camps like summer writing programs and math camp, you don’t need to carry anything specific, apart from the books and stationery they’ll need. You need to know exactly what kind of camp you’ve signed your kid up for. Read the pamphlets carefully as they usually have all the essential information required and what
needs to be packed for the camping trip. If it’s day camps for kids, you don’t have to pack in too much, apart from the essential clothes and medicines.
