  1. Ditch the Pinks & Blues, Let’s Make a Gender Ditch the Pinks & Blues, Let’s Make a Gender- -Neutral Nursery Neutral Nursery For the parents-to-be, making a gender-neutral nursery can be quite a challenge. However, with the existing laws in the country, this requirement is becoming inevitable. Moreover, ditching the pinks and blues is also in vogue. So, support the law and make a one of its kind nursery for your baby. Here are some tips and tricks that will come handy in designing a beautiful, unique and classy nursery. Get the Theme Right: Theme-based nursery can make your task quite easy. Once you decide the theme, everything else can be centered around it. Finding the theme will give a cohesive and well- thought off look and feel to the nursery. For a gender-neutral one, you can explore themes like Farmhouse or animals, Seaside dreams and Indian heritage. The brown furniture in farmhouse theme or white one in Indian heritage will go perfect for a baby girl and boy.

  2. Use the Colors Wisely: If not pink and blue, then trying the pastel palate of gray, green or yellow can be ideal. Soothing and calming, it can set just the tone that the new parents and baby will require. Though adding a tint of red or orange can go well with the overall soft tone of the nursery. Along with a theme, anchoring the room around a color looks fab too. Play with Graphics: With soft color palate in the baby nursery, a few touches of graphics can work wonders. The kids room wallpaper should add a playful touch to the room, while leasing a vibrant tint. In a gender-neutral nursery, adding jungle pals, white brick wall, NAU print and similar graphic wallpaper can be just ideal. It works for both the genders and adds more colors and prints to play in the nursery. You can also explore wallpapers in different shapes to add to the fun element.

  3. A Cute Rug: They look great in your baby nursery, as well. Moreover, once your baby starts crawling it will be much-needed to cushion the soft knees. Check for cute and colorful rugs that will blend well with the neutral color tone of the nursery and add just the optimum brightness. And keep the kid’s rug pattern neutral too. Functional Detailing: The nursery accessories like Euro Sham covers, duvet covers or decorative pillow covers should be in pastel tones. Along with colors, try to add a mix bag of cushion and pillow shapes in the nursery. Likewise, the curtain panels can also be in the shades of yellow, green or beige for that neutral color impact. These accessories go a long way in giving a polished touch to the nursery, and adding a style and functional statement. So, isn’t making a gender-neutral nursery easy. It gives you more scope to play with your favorite colors and themes. You will have a lot more to explore outside the pink and blue world. Most importantly, the love, passion and compassion with which parents-to-be make the nursery for their tiny tot it is bound to come out one of its kind.
