National Indian Health Outreach & Education (NIHOE) MISSION: To develop effective, streamlined, consumer-oriented materials to assist American Indians & Alaska Natives in understanding their rights and new opportunities under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) & the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (IHCIA). NIHOE National Partners & Area Coordinators
Outreach & Education Activities • A consumer-oriented, interactive website was developed and launched • A two day Kickoff meeting was held in Washington, D.C. • A two day National Tribal Health Care Reform Training was held in Minnesota “Area Strategies Session: Developing Area Plans for O&E” – Bemidji Area
