In Jerusalem, during the days of the divided kingdom when Hezekiah was king and Isaiah was God’s prophet, the people of God were on the receiving end of some serious psychological warfare: • 2 Kings 18:17-37, Isaiah 36-37
1. A Look At The Strategy • Use words to destroy the faith of God’s people (Isaiah 36:4ff) • The strategic manner he delivered his messages: • The messengers and Isaiah began to be filled with despair and fear (Isaiah 36:21-22, 37:1-3) • Hezekiah came through and delivered with faith and trust in Jehovah! • God delivered! (Isaiah 37:36-38)
2. Accept Tough Realities • The reality and its fierce nature of the war (2 Cor. 10:4-5) • The voices that work to discourage & distract us

2. Accept Realities • The reality and its fierce nature of the war (2 Cor. 10:4-5) • Ignore the voices that work to discourage & distract us • Be prepared for daily tests
3. Our Response • We need to flee for recommitment (Ps 5:7-8) • Test all things (1 Thes. 5:19-22) • Fill your heart and mind with THE TRUTH! (I Jn 2:20-21) • Remind Ourselves Of The Things We Know (I Jn. 5:13)
