  2. African Foundries Limited is a leading company manufacturing steel in Nigeria. This company aims to become the biggest steel group, leading steel market in the country. African Foundries Limited is a subsidiary of African Industries Group. The group has currently twelve manufacturing plants across the country and six of these plants manufacture steel. The group produces 1 million tons of steel. This is sixty to seventy percent of the steel requirement of the country. The plants are located in numerous states. The group has Ikorodu Steel Mills and African Steel Mills located in Lagos. African Foundries Limited is situated in Ogun State.
