  1. What does a CEO Coach do? One may wonder what a CEO Coach – especially seeing successful CEO Coaches weaving magic with the CEOs they work with! For a CEO Coach, it’s never the same, as each CEO they work with is different from each other, coming from different backgrounds, having different contexts, and operating from different coordinates with respect to their business and their own leadership presence. What then, is that the CEO Coach does to ‘move’ the CEOs from where they are to where they want to be? 1. CEO Coach listens intently – to what’s said and even unsaid; looking for goals behind the goals; helping CEOs derive Clarity, understand, determine, and finalise their priorities. 2. The approach of the CEO Coach is non-judgmental – The intent is not to judge but to help them ‘move’ from where they are to where they want to. 3. CEO Coaching helps CEOs Reframe their challenges, and problems; by asking the right questions – When we ask the right questions, the odds of finding the right answers become significantly high. 4. CEO Coach Challenges and supports the CEOs – Shows the mirror where needed; helps them uncover their blind spots.

CEO Coaching is an art and science. Coaching Certifications from global bodies, such as ICF, and lifelong learning orientation cover the science part of it. The effectiveness of Coaching CEOs, to a large extent, depends on the Commitment, Discipline, Presence, Refined Craft, and Compassion of the CEO Coach; which makes lasting differences to the CEOs and their businesses.
