SLIM WG Charter (Approved!) • Full text: http://tools.ietf.org/wg/slim/charters • Two specific use cases: • Email where different recipients require different languages. • Real-time communication where one party wishes to accommodate people with varying language and media needs. • The group’s initial focus will not be on supporting language-based call routing decisions. • Goals and Milestones: • Mar 2016: Submit “Multiple Language Content Type” to the IESG • Mar 2016: Submit “Negotiating Human Language in Real-Time Communications” to the IESG

  8. Not in the SLIM WG Charter • A document covering security/privacy issues arising from inclusion of human language (and other personal information) within SIP/SDP. • This document can be AD-sponsored (assuming authors can be solicited to write it). • Brian Rosen (and others) have pointed out that the security/privacy conditions are fairly well understood. • Potential volunteers for this (non)-work item?
