  16. HELLAS In ancient Greece there was no electricity or electronics but they taught philosophy, geometry, mathematics, geography, grammar and glossary. The Greeks also discovered the galaxy, the planets and medicine. Some of their archaic myths may or may not be true like the twelve Olympic gods but people are still studying Greek mythology. Greeks were antagonistic to Persians in the 3rd century before Christ.

  17. The crazy physician Once upon a time there was a doctor. He had studied Biology and Pharmacology and his favourite subjects were Mathematics and Chemistry. His techniques were strange. In his clinic he looked through the microscope for microbes. He mixed protein, lemon, oil, aloe, roses and a special kind of ammonia which you can find in the ocean and he called the mixture “The Elixir”. Patients who had diabetes, asthma, dyspepsia or stomach problems got better. But because of his amnesia he forgot the analogies and made an antitoxic antidote for bacterium and parasites instead which is used in pharmaceutics.

  24. CLASH ROYAL The clash royal is a fantastic game. You can play it on line synchronically with your friends or with non systematic players. The method is simple. It is based on battles you play to reach the arenas and strategies to gain new cards. The best cards are myths and legendaries. You can get them from a free chest, a silver chest, a golden crown, a clan chest, a magical chest, a fortune king chest. It is a good tactic to join in a Greek clan periodically to donate cards.

  25. The photographer My camera is my kaleidoscope. At the zoo I’ve taken fantastic photographs of dolphins, dragons, lions, elephants, leopards, panthers, hippopotamus, pelicans and octopuses. I visited characteristic archaeological sites of gigantic architecture like the Acropolis, obelisks, epigraphs and museums. I’ve also taken photos of encyclopedias, the lyceum and gymnasium books of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Geology, Iliad, Geometry, Mathematics, History and Grammar.

  26. THE STORY OF THE CHARISMATIC ACROBAT Prologue. Drama, chaos, agony, apathy and few friends are some of the things that show you are an enigmatic, eccentric person. The little acrobat was that kind of girl and she had the heart of an angel. She loved dancing and doing acrobatics and took part in shows with excellent choreography. She had an emblematic face and her eyes were like diamonds. She was a real cosmic goddess, beautiful and kind, a dreamer. Her name was Sophia. She had no family. All she had was an emerald necklace and a book she baptized “Philosophers”. Her enthusiasm was great for the theatre. Her favouritethemes in cinema were romantic scenes and tragic movies with trembling people living in tombs.

  27. One day she received a telegram from a theatre she could practice. Sophia would become a protagonist and have a partner, a mysterious boy, a phantom, named Peter. He asked him about the characters. “It is a melodrama”, he said “the myth of a hero Achilles who wanted to take a generous princess Chloe to his mystique world”. All this was fantastic. It was characteristic of magic in her dreams. The dynamics of acrobatics accompanied by classical music made her feel the harmony and the rhythm. There weren’t any stars or the galaxy. She imagined the scene in an ecstasy: a magic panorama and the horizon with Peter on her side. The epilogue was the metamorphosis of the unhypocritical dialogue into sympathy. The emphasis was on the symbolic idea of the genesis of love.

  28. Αφήσαμε για το τέλος εκφράσεις που χρησιμοποιούνται στα αγγλικά και οι οποίες προέρχονται από την αρχαία Ελληνική ιστορία και μυθολογία Achilles heel =Αχίλλειος πτέρνα Alpha and omega=Το Άλφα και το ωμέγα Crocodile tears =κροκοδείλια δάκρυα Eureka =Εύρηκα Gordian knot =γόρδιος δεσμός Hippocratic Oath =ο όρκος του Ιπποκράτη In the arms of Morpheus =στην αγκαλιά του Μορφέα Midas touch =το άγγιγμα του Μίδα Pandora’s Box =το κουτί της Πανδώρας Rhetoric question =ρητορική ερώτηση Trojan horse =Ο δούρειος ίππος
