  1. What is a Welfare Guardian? A welfare guardian is someone who helps you to stay safe and healthy. A welfare guardian can make hard decisions for you. Kelly is your welfare guardian. Kelly is not your girlfriend’s guardian.

  4. You can help Kelly make decisions. Kelly will try to make decisions you are happy with. Sometimes, you might not be happy with what Kelly says. You can get an advocate. An advocate is someone who can help you understand your rights.
