Problems • E3 sump pump failed requiring an access • A33 roughing pump died and required an access • VA47 was running to hard, reduced current • D43 roughing station is dying • D0 Q2 current changed by 2 amps during Store 6829 and had a ground fault. Also C4 frig was .7K warmer than normal. • C4 flywheel replaced • A01V collimator front end needed to be rebooted before scraping could begin on Store 6829 • St6833: CT did not work because initial chroms out of CT range. Ch<0 and Cv=+13. • St6834: Quenched F3 and DD when Kautz Road substation glitched from lightning strike. (Note: clean abort). Water in C sector. Ground fault. Tevatron Coordinator - FNAL 12/19/2019 4
Studies/Work Completed • Lowered horizontal tune at Flattop and in Seq 2-13 to get below .583 • Raised horizontal tune at Seq 14-15 by .004 to try to fix D0 losses • Raised vertical tune at Seq 23-25 to bring vertical tune above .583. • Replaced A33 roughing station • Improved tunes at Low Beta and coupling at collisions. • St6833: smooth sent out for st6834.
