  2. The water acts as a mirror. The mountain is reflected in it. We call this the mirror line or line of symmetry.

  3. What is symmetry? A shape has symmetry when one half of it is the mirror image of the other half.

  4. Symmetry is all around us!

  5. The 'Proportions of Man' is a famous work of art by Leonardo da Vincithat shows the symmetry of the human form. There are many examples of symmetry (and near symmetry)inside the human body e.g. the kidneys, the brain, the skull, etc.  

  6. Symmetry exists in architecture all around the world. One of the best known examples of this is the Taj Mahal
