Shapes . What are shapes?. Shapes are outline figures, mostly with edges. What are Corners?. Corners are when the sides meet together. Circles. 1 side d shape with no corners. Triangle. 3 sided shape with 3 corners. Square. Squares are 4 sides . Rectangle.

  7. Rectangle • Rectangles has 4 sides, two sides are longer then the other.

  8. Trapezoid • Trapezoid has two same lines

  9. Rhombus • Rhombus are also called Diamond

  10. Pentagon • Pentagons are 5 side shapes

  11. Hexagon • Hexagons are 6 sided shapes

  12. Heptagon • Heptagons have 7 sides

  13. Octagon • Octagons are 8 sided shapes

  14. Nonagon • Nonagon are 9 sided shapes

  15. Decagon • 10 sided shape is a Decagon

  16. What are 3D Shapes? • Three dimensional shapes are what you see everyday

  17. Sphere • Sphere is circular shape like balls.

  18. Triangular Prism • Prisms has triangle and rectangle sides

  19. Cuboid • Cuboid is like a rectangle with 6 sides.

  20. Cube • Cubes have six square sides.

  21. Cylinder • Cylinders have two circle sides.

  22. Pyramid • Pyramids has a four triangle side and one square

  23. Cone • Cones have one circle base like ice cream cones.
