  3. Family • The younger of two children born to John Wilson Dillinger and Mary Ellen "Mollie" Lancaster. • Dillinger's father and stepmother had three children.

  4. School • He quit school to work in an Indianapolis machine shop. • Dillinger was a bit of a bully while in school, always picking on kids smaller than him.

  5. Prison Time • The first time ever being jailed, Dillinger befriended criminals and learned to become a successful criminal. • Dillinger was jailed his very first time on assault, and battery charges for robbing a store.

  6. Bank Robberies • Dillinger and his gang began a streak of bank robberies across Indiana. • Once Dillinger got out and planned an escape for his criminal friends, they went straight to work. Becoming very very successful bank robbers.

  7. On the Run • A fire broke out at the Hotel Congress in Tucson where members of the Dillinger gang were staying. • Dillinger ended up getting jailed again but broke himself out. And was on the run again, becoming Public Enemy No 1.

  8. Gang Members • Dillingers original gang consisted of Harry Pierpont, Charles Makley, Russel Clark, John Hamilton, and of coarse John Dillinger himself. • They dressed like any other respectable businessmen and didn't draw much attention to themselves.

  9. Dillingers New Gang • Dillingers new gang consisted of Baby face Nelson, Pretty Boy Floyde and other criminals. • John Dillinger knew he couldn’t do it on his own so once his original gang members switched up on him he quickly found replacements.

  10. Little Bohemia Lodge • In April, the Dillinger gang settled at a lodge hideout called the little bohemia lodge. They planned on the lodge just being a safe house because they were all on the run. • The police ended up finding out about the hideout and from there it was a full blown shoot out, killing several of Dillingers gang members.

  11. Cubs Games • Joh Dillinger was a huge Cubs fan. • Regardless of the fact that he was on the run Dillinger still attended the Cubs games at the Wrigley Field.

  12. Theater and Death • Dillinger attended the film Manhattan Melodrama with Polly Hamilton and Ana Cumpănaş. • Due to a tip the police were outside of the theater waiting for Dillinger to leave. • Dillinger was known to be a threat so once he reached for his gun he was fired upon and killed.
