What applications are NOT the same? iMovie iWeb iPhoto GarageBand Keynote Pages
What's the Window’s solution? iMovie – Windows Movie Maker iWeb – Nvu iPhoto – Web Cam Companion/Picasa GarageBand – Audacity/MovieMaker Keynote – PowerPoint Pages – Publisher / Word
What will not transfer but can be accessed? iMovie – rendered "finished" movies will play and can then be edited on the tablet (MovieMaker) GarageBand - rendered "finished" movies will play and can be edited on the tablet (MovieMaker) iWeb - html code into Nvu
Saving my files Always save your files to the Documents folder (which also include your Music, Pictures, and Video folders) It is highly recommended that your manually back-up your files to the H drive (under Computer). You have 1 Gigabyte of back-up space. Only back-up school related files It is recommended that staff purchase a USB thumb drive to back-up personal data. Personal files can be saved to your tablet. Keep in mind that you only have 1 Gigabyte of district storage for back-up. Back-up often!
