Current Federal Legislative Responses – Youth Homelessness RHYA Housing Programs (shelter, outreach, housing) McKinney-Vento HUD Supportive Housing Program and Shelter Plus Care McKinney-Vento School Liaisons College Student Financial Aid now available to former wards of state or adoptees (if after age 13) CONGRESS VIEW ON CHILDREN: Education, Health Insurance, Subsidized Day Care, and Child Welfare (Homeless Youth and Foster Youth-in-Transition are not on radar!)
