Questions • Describe the differences between attempting to capture motion indoor versus outdoors. What was easier? More difficult? Which images do you prefer?Indoors was easier, because it was very cold outside. I prefer the pictures from outside, though. • Look back critically at your indoor and outdoor series. Explain which technique of panning you think creates to most interesting image. I think panning creates the most interesting image, as long as it’s done right and the subject is perfectly in focus. • Identify your favourite panning shot from either indoor or outdoor. Write a small critique and reflection about the image. Consider its composition, white balance, clarity, artistry, technical accuracy of the pan, and overall impact. My favourite shot was the indoors panning shot. It’s an excellent picture, as it leaves the subject with lots of room to move. As well, the subject is in focus, yet the background is quite blurry.
