The human body is a collection of organ systems working together. • The circulatory system uses the heart, blood vessels, and blood to transport nutrients and oxygen to the body. • The respiratory system is responsible for the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide using the trachea, lungs, and diaphragm.

The excretory system gets rid of body waste using the kidneys and ureterand urethra • The reproductive system produces offspring. • The nervous system coordinates the body and sends and receives signals throughout the body using organs such as the brain, spinal cord, nerves and sense organs. • The endocrine system regulates the body using hormones produced in glands.
