Kuali Financial System Overview • Capital Asset Management (CAM) module allows you to track: • Assets purchased, Gifts, Transfer, Found, etc... • CAM e-docs allow you to create, maintain, retire asset records. • Module handles records for a wide variety of both moveable and non-movable assets • The system allows users to edit room number, building number, condition code, usage percent/type, serial number, manufacturer name, warranty, repair, notes and attachment, alternate Description, PI and responsible person.

Kuali Financial System CAM highlights • Equipment Management System will be replaced by Capital Asset Management in Kuali Financial Systems • Users can initiate and submit the electronic documents online for approval: • Loan • Renew • Return • Merge • Asset Fabrication • Separate • Transfer • Equipment Inventory Modification Request (EIMR) will be replaced by CAM e-docs • Recharge for Fabrication will be done in Internal Billing for Fabrication • Any KFS users can view/search capital assets.
