  1. Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant 2007 Remedial Actions at TCAAP Site C Excavation/Stabilization/Disposal of Contaminated Soils, Placement of Soil Covers, and Construction of Replacement Wetland U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Shaw Environmental, Inc.

  2. Site C-2 Remedial Action • Work Plan Clarification (WPC) No. 41 – Borrow soils sampling and excavation plan. • Construction Start Date – 7/16/07. • Excavation/Stabilization/Disposal of contaminated soils from 63 grids at Site C-2. • Placement of approximately 38,000 cubic yards (cy) of fill material and 5,000 cy of topsoil for the soil cover construction (58 Grids and portions of the ditches required a minimum of 4 feet of soil cover due to contamination remaining in place). • WPC No. 42 – Over-excavated soils. • Construction of a Replacement Wetland located north of Site C-2 (~2 acres).

  3. Site C-2 Remedial Action • WPC No. 43 – Burn Area. • Excavation/Stabilization/Disposal of ~200 cy of contaminated soil at the southern end of the wetland. • Final Survey • Construction Completion Date - 10/5/07.
