6. INTRODUCTION-ZEDES 3T Impex Zero Demurrage Service (ZEDES) is a comprehensive Import support Service developed by 3T Impex Consulting Limited. This is aimed at working with the importers to reduce Delays, Discrepancies and consequently the Demurrage and other avoidable costs that are being often incurred in the course of their import transaction. This service helps the client to concentrate on their core business functions like manufacturing, trading, construction etc. and thereby them to be more efficient, effective and consequently increase their productivity. This proposal contains our company profiles, the scope of ZEDES, transaction dynamics, benefits and the service charge.

7. ZEDESSCOPE The scope of the ZEDES include the following: 1. Review and re-engineering of the client’s Import Trade operations and Processes 2. Work with the clients in their import planning processes 3. Review Sales contract with clients before shipment 4. Help the client in document examination before supplier dispatch them. 5.Follow up on Banks for e-form M acceptance, PAAR issuance and shipping documents 6. Monitoring of import processes from the import planning stage to the delivery of goods at the warehouse 7. Follow up on the clearing agents and monitoring of the clearing processes 9. General advisory services on Import documentations and any new regulations

8. ZEDESSCOPE 10. Work with the client to prepare the pre-import documentation 11. Work with the client to fill the e-form M on the trade portal 12. Work with the client to vet shipping documents before the supplier issues the original documents 13. Review of the Letter of Credits draft(if applicable) before issuance by the Bank 14. Work with the client to verify the authenticity of new suppliers 15. Send email and sms alert on vessel arrival, document arrival, e-form M Revalidation and other relevant information 16. Send weekly report on the status of client import transaction

9. ZEDESBENEFITS The benefits of the ZEDES include the following: 1. It helps the client to concentrate on its core Job of trading, Manufacturing, construction etc 2. It eliminates the bottlenecks in the import transaction and thus reduces the delays to near zero overtime 3. It reduces the extra costs (resulting from demurrage, interest, discrepancy charges etc) incurred by the importers in the course of their import transactions. 4. The import operation re-engineering removes all the bottlenecks and lapses in the import operation 5. It helps the client to reduce the risk and mitigate against frauds In their import trade transactions 6. The email alerts and weekly report helps the clients to be on top of their transactions and this helps them to make necessary plans ahead.

10. ZEDES DYNAMICS 1. Client and 3T Impex agree on proposal terms, make necessary amendments and sign the proposals. 2. A designated staff of the client interfaces with the 3T Impex and introduces 3T Impex to the Bank and clearing agent 3. 3T Impex works with the client to review sale contract, LC draft and e-form M processing. 4. 3T Impex provides other services as stated in the scope of the proposal as required by the client. 5. Upon shipment, client provides shipping documents and pay 50% of ZEDES charge 6. 3T Impex vets shipping documents and send it back to the Client and follow up on Bank for PAAR, and the agent for clearing 7. Agent clear goods, deliver it to client warehouse and client pays the 50% balance of ZEDES as agreed.

11. ZEDES CHARGE The ZEDES charge shall be N30,000 per shipment irrespective of the Form M value and shipment value. Terms of Payment: 50% payment is to be made within 2 working days after shipment while the balance of 50% is to be made within 2 working days after delivery of goods at the client’s warehouse. The ZEDES charge covers the services within the scope stated in this proposal. It does not cover the following: 1. Transport cost to client office 2. Clearing of goods from the port 3. Delivery of goods to customer’s warehouse 4. Transport cost to client’s Bank

12. ZEDESACCEPTANCE To accept this proposal please sign and send copy of this page by email to info@3timpex.com.
