S48 INSPECTIONS • ORGANISATION OF S48 INSPECTIONS • Schools are notified two weeks in advance of their inspection. • All inspections take place over two days. • All secondary inspections have two inspectors. • Many primary inspections have two inspectors. • During the inspection the likelyjudgements are shared with the school. • Quality assurance by the Diocesan Education Service may result in judgements being changed. • Judgements are NOT to be made public until the final report is given to the school.
S48 INSPECTIONS The inspection will judge the quality and impact of the school’s provision for: Catholic life including; a) spiritual, moral and vocational education b) collective worship 2.Leadership (including governance) 3.Religious education
