CEFTA challenges for all players • Priorities in approximation and parallel approach • Non tariff barriers • Customs procedures as single and common process horizontally and vertically • All CEFTA countries to join to Euro - Mediterranean accumulation of origin as soon as possible including EFTA • Support to the regional product
Export challenges in Macedonia • insufficient number of large economic entities which could provide high growth in exports; • insufficient investments in manufacturing and export oriented sector; • unfavorable export structure – high share of products with low stage of processing; • high costs for financing of export activities; • insignificant appearance on new markets • Corridors VIII & X
