What the system does as a whole? • Monitors the borrowing of product of every branch online • Sends announcements like launching/promotion of new product to every branch • Advertises franchising via internet • Advertises reservation and recruitment with the use of internet connection • Edits information of every branch • Saves successful transactions in the system’s database • View reports for future references • Connects in Online Reservation System • Connects in Online Recruitment System • Advertises the respective company to the market through internet

Transactions covered, queries, reports, special technologies • The Vendor Management System helps to monitor the products of every • franchise branch online. • This allows Branch Manager to send order of borrowing request to the • Administrator (Main Office) for borrowing specific product in other branch. • Allows Administrator to receive request from every branch. • Allows Branch Manager to confirm status of the transaction. • Allows Administrator to send and receive email coming from branch. • Send and receive email coming from Administrator.
3. Major difference from other similar systems • - The Web-based Vendor Management System that the proponents proposed has • major difference from the existing process that Max’s currently using: • The proposed system would will be requiring them to use internet connection for • the operation of the system. Using these web-based is much more easier and • different from the manual process that Max’s using nowadays. Especially the • monitoring of plenty and separated branches from every area. They can • still keep in touch with every branch with the use of internet connection • Also, this will serve as the advertising system of Max’s because Administrator is • capable of putting information’s about anything is their company such as: • Franchising, Recruitment, Reservation, Delivery, New products launching and many • more information coming from the main office.
4. Integration with other systems Vendor Management System The proposed Vendor Management System Has two sub-systems, the stand alone and online System. Stand alone VMS Online VMS This is for the use of the Main Office for monitoring branch, under a designated Administrator This is for the use of every Branch, Administered by Branch Manager Inventory Reservation Recruitment Stand-alone is connected to inventory Because the product they borrowed or borrowed from them will be increase or decrease the inventory of products Internet users can avail to view “Recruitment Page” online, under the Online Recruitment System This can avail through internet Connection. It can be a way to reservation page under Online Reservation System.
