  2. Ted Harrison (1926- ) Ted Harrison was born in England in 1926. He moved to Canada and took a teaching position in the Yukon after responding to an ad stating “come teach in the land of the moose.   13. Aurora borealis • Aurora can be seen from October through March. This yellow shimmering colour is quite common and frequently "runs" or moves backwards or forwards across the sky. Sometimes the Aurora borealis (Northern Lights) are different colours.
