  1. Explore the taste of the wine of World’s finest brands! Wine has been produced for years. Georgia has been the earliest producer of wine. In today’s scenario, Italy, Spain, France, the United States and China produce more than half of the World’s wine. Wine is produced from fermented grapes or other fruits like plum, cherry, pomegranate, currant and elderberry. It contains 12 to 15% alcohol. The wine producers try different varieties of grapes and strains of yeasts to produce different styles of wine. Complex interactions between biochemical developments of the grape, the reactions involved in fermentation, the grapes’ growing environment and the production process produce different flavors in a wine. Many countries define the styles and qualities of wine to restrict their geographical area for protecting the interest of producers. Variants of wine The variants of wine include red wine, white wine, rose wine, fruit wines, honey wine and starch-based wine. Producers follow a variety of techniques to derive specific color and taste in wine. Red wine is the most popular wine made from dark-colored grape varieties. Its production process involves the extraction of color and flavor elements from the grape skin. The color of young wine is orange; the color of mature wine is red, while the intensity of older red wines is brown. The red color comes from anthocyanins pigment present in grape-skin. White wine is produced from the pulp of green or yellow grapes. Rose wine is also made from the skin of grapes, but it does not qualify as red wine, so they are called rose wines. Fruit wines are made from different fruits like apple and berries besides earlier mentioned fruits. Honey wine is produced by fermenting honey with fruits, spices, grains and hops. Barley wine and rice wine are derived from starch-based materials.
