It is required to wear elastic garments after the procedure which you can buy from the clinic or bring your own. Ideally, women should not have their period during the operation but in case they do, they should inform their doctor.

6. How is it done ? The Rhinoplasty Surgery does not leave any visible scars as it is performed through the nostrils. The soft parts, cartilage, and bones and loosened and then reshaped. If the bone structure reshaping is not necessary, only the soft parts can be remodeled. 

7. Surgery After Surgery As Nose surgery takes between one and two hours, and it is usually performed under general anesthesia, or by client’s request under local anesthesia.  Nasal tampons are inserted in the nostrils and are taken out about three to five days after the operation. A splint is worn for two weeks or more only at night to fixate and protect the nose. The patient is taught how to apply pressure massages at the clinic after the splint is removed. For six to eight weeks the patient has to avoid contact sports, sun exposure, extreme temperatures, and sauna. It is important to rest, ideally on the back with the legs and body slightly elevated, until the bandages are removed.  

8. Possible Reactions In some cases, your temperature may slightly rise for a two to three days. An analgesic can easily ease the discomfort connected to any possible pain in the area operated upon. After nose reshaping surgery it looks better in 2-3 weeks and usually continues to improve for many months, and the nasal tip drops to its permanent position in 3-6 months. However, the final results may not be apparent for a year or more.
