In this round of PISA, where students from Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu sat for the test, India ranked 72nd. place on 73 countries, surpassing only Kyrgistan. •Since then, India has moved away from the test so far, because the students of Chandigarh will be seated for the test in 2021. •About 1.75 lakh students from Chandigarh government schools, along with 600 Navodaya Vidyalayas and 3.000 Kendra Vidyalayas will take the PISA three-hour test in 2021.
