In version 10.0 FP 2208, Identity and Authentication Management in SAP B1 service has been introduced. It enables SAP users to access many accounts using a single sign-on facility. Identity and Authentication Management in SAP B1 Benefits Enables SSO and improves SAP B1 usability. SAP B1 users don’t need different passwords for different accounts. Enhances website security through IDP’s multi-factor authentication. Provides a centralised source for user configuring and binding. Activating IAM in SAP B1 Use SAP B1 SLD control centre for configuring IDP and user bindings with these approaches: Authentication of unified user Authentication of MS Windows domain account OIDC Add an external IDP or use an existing IDP account with OIDC. Addition of SAP B1 users Addition of an IDP user: Click Add in Users tab in SAP B1 SLD. Add user providing IDP of users, username and password and landscape administrator. After addition, user binding can be done to SAP users. Sign into SAP B1 with IDP After IDP activation, SAP B1 shows a new sign-in window. As per IDP configuration, SAP users are redirected to particular IDP. Use SAP B1 authentication window to log in as IDP. Future Rollout Plan For 10.0 FP 2208 version, IAM is supported on SAP B1 and SAP B1 for SAP HANA It is not supported on existing SAP B1 Cloud 10.0 FP releases.
