Mobile Killing Squads Mobile killing squads or Einsatzruppen began in 1941, involving more than 3,000 Germans. The mobile killing squads were divided into four groups, such as A, B, C, and D. They would travel around Europe and kill Jews on the go. They would kill Jews or even any suspected Jews. These mobile killing squads would make victims dig there own grave. Medical Experiments These horrific medical experiments preformed on the Jews were mainly done at Auschwitz. Experiments were lead by a German scientist by the name of Mangel. The main experiment they focused on was sterilization. Mangel was trying to find a nonsurgical way to sterilize men and women. When they were done with there victims they would kill them. Because to dr. Mangel they were to weak to work. From sterilization to a lamp made of skin. The experiments that Mangel preformed on the Jews were simply bazar. Lace, Williams. Hitler’s Youth Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889. He entered military at age 26, when he failed to enter his dream art school. While in military he won 2 bravery medals and was promoted corporal. After serving many years in the military. He was done with the military in the year 1919. In 1938 he started making plans to demolish Jews. Hitler believed that Jews were the main cause of Germany loosing WW1. In 1940 the holocaust began. He married Eva Braun in April 28th, 1945. Auschwitz-Birkeneau Auschwitz was opened in 1941. It was located 30 miles south of Poland. It was known as the largest death camp of them all. It is responsible for the death of more than 4 million Jews. When you first entered the death camp women, children, and the elderly were separated from the men. The women, children, and elderly were immediately sent to either a gas chamber or crematory. They were sent there because Nazis said that they couldn’t work. The men were sent to get dressed and have hair cut of so that they could get to work as soon as possible. Auschwitz was liberated in 1945 by the Russians. Watts, Franklin. Auschwitz.
