  2. Area and Circumference of a Circle Circumference is the perimeter (length outside) of a circle. Area is the space inside of an object. Try finding the area and circumference of several circles with your team. Be sure to pay close attention to whether you are given the radius or diameter of the circle.

  3. Volume of a Cylinder • You find the volume of a cylinder by using the same exact formula • V = B×h • But wait!... • What is the BASE of a cylinder? • The two circles. • What is the HEIGHT of a cylinder? • The distance between the two circles.
