How to Create a Discussion. Silver & VIP members -- 2011. You have to be logged in to the community in order to start a discussion. Type in your user ID and password to login. There are two Paths for Creating a Discussion. From your member’s wall hover over “Member’s Wall” Tab.

  2. You have to be logged in to the community in order to start a discussion Type in your user ID and password to login

  3. There are two Paths for Creating a Discussion From your member’s wall hover over “Member’s Wall” Tab

  4. 1- Initiate Discussion from Discussion Forum From the drop down list, select “Discussion Forum”

  5. Initiate Discussion from Discussion Forum Click on from here you can Click on “Initiate Discussion”

  6. Manage your Discussion from your Member’s wall But we’re going to use the other path to create a discussion. Hover over Member’s wall tab and click on “my profile”

  7. 2- Initiate Discussion from My Discussion page This will take you back to your personal member’s wall.

  8. Getting to your own Discussion Page From the left navigation pane in your member’s wall, select “My Discussions”

  9. Initiate Discussions from “My Discussion” Area This will take you to the area where you can manage all of your discussions. Simply click on “Initiate Discussion” Button.

  10. Initiating Discussion You can start creating your discussion By simply start writing in the box below editor. Notice the editor capabilities.

  12. Adding Images to the Content of your Discussion • You can Insert an Image

  13. Creating Links from the Content of your Discussion to other Sites • You can insert a Hyperlink

  14. Creating Anchor within your Discussion • You can create an anchor within the discussion itself

  15. Changing the color of your Discussion’s Text • And of course, you can change the color for your text. • And many more…

  18. Creating Tags for your Discussion to be Searched Easier Scroll down and you can • Add tags for better search ability

  19. Posting your Discussion Click on Create button. You’re done, you have now initiated your discussion.
