The American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) is offering a fantastic opportunity for students enrolled in your health administration program to attend ACHE’s 2013 Congress on Healthcare Leadership at no cost by serving as program assistants. • A program assistant is an ACHE Student Associate who works at least eight hours at Congress in return for a reimbursement of the student registration fee. The 2013 Congress on Healthcare Leadership will be held March 11–14, 2013, at the Hilton Chicago/Palmer House Hilton. • All applicants must be ACHE Student Associates and be registered for Congress prior to applying as a program assistant. Registration for Congress begins Nov. 13 at ache.org/Congress. The registration fee will be refunded to participating program assistants upon completion of their responsibilities shortly after Congress. • Your students can apply for an assistantship beginning Nov. 30, 2012, through Jan. 4, 2013, at ache.org/ProgramAssistant. ACHE will only accept applications for program assistants through its website. • If you have any questions regarding how students can become ACHE Student Associates or about the program assistant positions, please contact BeccaChimis, postgraduate fellow, at (312) 424-9308 or rchimis@ache.org.
