Position of RPTEL • Roles: • A disseminator of rigorous research on all aspects of the use of technology for enhancing learning • A catalyst for multidisciplinary dialog among researchers and practitioners in the field of technology enhanced learning • Targets: • Research studies within or involving countriesin the Asia-Pacific region

Scope of RPTEL:The Target Research • Research types: • Conceptual research from the theoretical perspectives • Praxis research on the interface between theory and practice • Empirical research on the evidence-based practices • Technology used: • All forms of technology that may enhance learning opportunities • Not restricted to information and communications technologies • Learning settings: • Formal learning settings (e.g., schools, universities or colleges) • Organizationaltrainingsettings (e.g., business or government organizations) • Other informal learning settings
