(Currently 53,000+ MyFD PI authorizations in ASTRA.) • Not managed directly by any ASTRA Authorizers. (Would you really want to manage that many directly??) • Currently show Tami Sadusky as the ‘owner’ because of GCA’s management role for these budgets. This will change soon to reflect the auto-batch load instead of showing Tami’s name. YAY, for Tami!! • Tami cannot delete or change these auths (see #2 above).
Contact OSP about changing the PI on a budget. • If a PI needs to be changed or removed from a budget where they are shown as the PI, the request goes to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) office*. • Once OSP authorize the change they notify GCA to remove the PI from the budget on the FIN driver. • The FIN budget/PI data gets uploaded nightly to ASTRA so when changes are made to the budget/PI in FIN it is reflected the next day in ASTRA. • Departments should contact OSP at osphelp@uw.edu about changing the PI on a budget.
