To guarantee confidentiality, prior administrative approval for submission of claim is not needed. Locally recruited staff covered by MIP: ·The services are provided 100 per cent free of charge to the staff member (i.e. no payment is required either in advance or at a later time). ·Invoices are sent directly by OSC to UNJMS in coded form (thus ensuring confidentiality). UNJMS informs UNON of accounts liability for each UN agency and UNON then invoices each UN agency. ·UN agencies claim back 80 per cent of the cost from MIP and charge 20 per cent of the cost to other budget lines.
