  1. Different Kinds of Therapeutic Dental Procedures

These procedures are meant to treat chronic dental diseases, pain resulting from infection or any other causes. • It is often also used in slowing down the progression of the disease which is otherwise impossible to treat fully. • Hence these dental procedures cover a lot of areas in which it can play a significant role in terms of recovery and prevention of occurring the same disease or new ones including any type of relapses.

  4. Periodontal disease:

This is one of the key sectors where these therapeutic dental procedures could be effective to a greater extent. • This disease is characterized by infection of the bones which are meant to support our teeth. • It can have a drastic effect and this infection should be treated as soon as possible.

  6. Gingivitis: • Simply speaking, gingivitis refers to the infection of the gums. Gums may become red or swollen due to infection. • Blood coming out of the gums is also a frequent occurrence in these types of diseases. • Hence these procedures could prevent prognosis of the disease.

  7. Root canal therapy: • This is that procedure which involves removing of the infected nerve inside a tooth. • After removing the nerve for which the infection is occurring, the area is disinfected and then filled up with a specific material in order to prevent further infections.

  8. Temporo- • Mandibular joint therapy: Pain in this joint (Temporo-Mandibular) could be very painful. • Whether we are speaking or swelling or yawning, this joint plays a crucial in order to complete the action.

  9. Any dysfunction of this could result in dysfunction of any actions that are associated with it. • A headache, shoulder pain, back pain are one of the common symptoms which come with the Temporo-Mandibular joint disease.

  10. Teeth Grinding: • This is also a common dental symptom where teeth grinding occur especially during sleep. • These teeth grinding results into swelling and bleeding of gums. The procedures could prevent this habitual grinding and as such.

  11. Dry mouth syndrome: • It is one that syndrome which may happen due to side effects of other medications or due to tobacco abuse etc. • This has a severe effect on the teeth and dental caries are most prevalent symptoms among the people who suffer from dry mouth syndrome.

  12. Different types of medications are prescribed for this syndrome and out of those; dental fluoride is most common which does show the effect to a greater extent.

  13. Braces: • Braces are used to bring the misaligned teeth to a more aligned position. • The misaligned teeth often are subjected to undergo teeth grinding which eventually leads to bleeding gums, swelling gums etc.

  14. The dental procedure can bring lots of relief.
