  2. Landforms: The landforms on our continent are bays, islands, a volcano, and seas. Climate: The climate of our continent is cold, windy, and snowy. The oceans and continents that surround our continent are Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and the Southern Ocean. The size of our continent in square miles is 5,297,300.

  3. Hemisphere: The hemispheres are the Southern Hemisphere, the Western Hemisphere, and the Eastern Hemisphere. Famous Landmarks: The Weddell Sea, the Ross Sea, and Robert Scott’s grave.

  4. The approximate number of people who live on our continent is always changing. Languages: The languages spoken on our continent are English, French, Russian, and Spanish. Foods: Frozen meats, noodles, rice, and beans.

  5. ANIMALS! The animals that live on our continent are: Polar bears, southern right whales, petrals, fulmurs, skuas, arctic terns, crab-eater seals, elephant seals, fur seals, leopard seals,Ross seals,Weddelseals, macaroni penguins, emperor penguins, chinstrap penguins,Adele penguins, and krill.

  6. FACTS: Emperor Penguins spit up fish to feed their babies. Antarctica has no official flag. Antarctica has no rivers, no forests, and no native people. Antarctica is the windiest place on earth.

  7. Leopard seals eat Emperor penguins. Southern right whales are very rare. Chinstrap penguins got their name from the line on their chin that looks like a strap.
