UNCLASSIFIED CYBERSECURITY • Secretaries of Defense and Homeland Security established a special partnership in late 2010 to advance operational planning and department coordination. • The Defense Department has cyber capabilities and experience, domestically and in foreign cyberspace, spanning over a quarter century.  • DHS has important public-private relationship responsibilities that are essential to implementing complementary government-industry cybersecurity solutions.
