Stay • How and when do firms decide how many and in which areas trainees will be kept on within.. • What will the internal process be? • What can you do to ensure you give yourself the best chance? - CV Prep - Department and personnel knowledge - Trainee Reviews (is it a dept you had a seat within) - Personalities involved

  5. Move • When will other firms advertise? • How will they advertise? • How should you get in touch? How to improve your chances.. What options are available?

  6. Change Career, Leave Law Consider this carefully, sometimes a change of firm and culture is enough! • Alternative Career Options • Company Secretarial • Compliance • Risk • Regulatory • Financial Services • Business Route
