  2. Step 1: to be done by NIC Download Adobe FLASH Media Live Encoder. Please use the below link for windows. https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/entitlement/index.cfm?e=fmle3 NIC to provide user id and password. Hardware requirements Windows Intel® Pentium® 3 (or compatible) 933MHz or faster processor 256MB of RAM (1GB recommended) 40MB of available hard-disk space (excludes archived FLV and F4V files) Microsoft DirectShow compatible video capture device See a complete list of tested devices For H.264 and AAC support: Intel Core™ 2 Duo 1.67GHz required (Intel Core 2 Duo 3GHz recommended) For multiple output streams, minimum Intel Core 2 Duo 3GHz and 2GB of RAM required (quad- or 8-core machine with 3GB of RAM recommended) System requirements Windows Microsoft® Windows® XP with Service Pack 2 or 3; Windows Vista® Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise; Windows Server® 2003 32-bit Web Edition; or Windows 7 1,024x768 screen resolution with 32-bit video card Microsoft DirectX End-User Runtime version 9.0c For H.264 and AAC support: Flash Media Live Encoder 2.5 required

  3. Step 2 : to be done by NIC Download and save the XML file sent via mail on the desktop.Pl find here the sample file icon. The file name will be the Polling station name . The following steps should be performed by Operator : Step 3 : Open the ADOBE FLASH MEDIA LIVE ENCODER from the path mentioned below. START->ALL PROGRAMS->ADOBE->ADOBE FLASH MEDIA LIVE ENCODER. Or pl click on the icon if it is available on desktop. You will see the tool opened as shown below. Ignore warning messages if any.

  4. Make Sure that the Input Image and output image are appearing on the screen

  5. Step 4 : From the Menu Click on Open Profile and open the XML file that was saved on the desktop. When the following warning message appears and click OK.

  6. Step 5 : Create a path to save the video stream. Select the “Save to file box”. Enter the path of the file where the stream needs to be saved. Use the browse button.

  7. Make sure that the video capture appears on Input and Output. The values highlighted in RED color box should appear correctly. PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE ANY FIELD IN THIS TOOL Address where stream is reaching This is the PS number Click on the connect button. After clicking on Connect Button click on start button.

  8. Step 6 : Click on Connect Button you will see the below screen . Enter the user id : test1234password : test1234Now you will see the Disconnect button.

  9. Step 7 : Click on the Start Button. The STOP button will be highlighted. Thus you have started streaming and the video you are capturing is available for monitoring for officials.
